Born from a love of plants and gardening for wildlife
Bracken Glen was born from a love of plants. A deep, lifelong, slightly-out-of-control love of plants.
For years my husband would watch me pull up with yet another boot full of plants and ask, very patiently, “Why on earth do you need more plants?” Eventually I found the perfect answer: I turned it into a business. He has not asked since.
I bring 15 years of hands-on gardening, along with countless courses and books on gardening, garden design and gardening for wildlife. I have worked with homes and businesses of every shape and size, from a single window box to a whole garden starting from scratch, and I love nothing more than finding the right plant for the right place.
Wildlife is close to my heart. Wherever I can, I choose plants that feed and shelter the bees, butterflies, birds and dragonflies that make a garden feel truly alive, because a garden should be good for nature as well as beautiful to look at.
Home is a busy, happy place. I am a wife and a mum of three, and we share our garden with Maggie the dog, a flock of chickens and Colin the cockerel, who firmly believes he is in charge. So I know exactly what it takes to create a garden that looks lovely and copes with real life.

Whether you need one special plant, a basket by the door or a garden designed from the ground up, I would love to help you create something you will enjoy for years to come.
